    yesser got too close while aired out in the straight,,,,
    10' wide hull becomes 20' of air entrapment instantly,,,,
    agree just like our F1/F2 days

    Curious what that your post means they got too close. I was completely baffled why two boats go over like that. Please explain. Thanks.

    Looking at video they got into each other and both went over both boats were touching sponsons in the air

    The boats were so close to each other causing the air bleeding off the outside of each boats sponson to essentially be forced under the other boat causing even more air compression under each boat.
    With that comparison it’s basically saying the boats essentially “became one” hence the 20’ total width

    They were runnin so close together , u could hardly see 2nd boat until start to flip.
    Also looked like white boat got under other boat sponson and helped with the lift
