Thanks for looking... Its really driving me nuts.
Starting to wonder if it isnt for a mercury and that's the problem but wouldn't I have issues with the splines then? It slides on perfectly so with the right washer it should work fine.

Sorry I just got down to the shop. 12-835467-1 is the proper thrust washer which is what it looks like you have. It does not sit down in the prop against the hub. Just on the flange.

The washer in the 2nd pic definitely isn't correct. Here's what it looks like.

That's correct ,just install a standard merc washer. A step washer is not used . hf...
