That Manitou is crazy nice! I added a center toon on mine and went from a 90 to a 225 4 stroke, money well spent. One of the only set ups on the River that can now comfortably deal with all the friggen wakeboards boats.
I've tried twice to go without an 80+mph boat, still cant do it. Love my Ally Basser

I have no idea what I would use a toon for. What are they good at?
Do you have chairs at you cottage facing the water? That's what a pontoon is for.

Everything at the cottage faces the lake. Kitchen, dining area, living room, chairs on deck. I like to look at the lake and so does our company. No cottage, maybe a toon?

you either want to socialize on the water with a group of people or on land, its not rocket science.............

Pontoons definitely have their place. In our market (central Canada) toons have replaced almost 100% of the 16-20' fiberglass open bow market and a large portion of the 16-17' fish/ski market. For the average user they are plenty of boat depending on size. Now if you've been bitten by the speed bug, well they won't replace anything in that market.
