my transplant has turned into a nightmare! ive got a real mess, problem is15'' tiller is slightly higher than 20'' clamp so when i swancwich the top plate it forces the 2pc plate up, leaving a gap, bottom plate to can . both plates / mounts fit nice together, but the 2 long tiller bolts wont slide thru the tighten alu. mounts. the whole 2pc assembly lifts off can. a double gasket wont be enough. thinking of boring out the thru bolt hole in the mounts, they need to drop down. i cant raise the can or lower the tiller. the plates sit about 1/8 too high. MAYBE turn the mounts on a lathe and 5200, to seat them in? the 15'' cut man must have been a little off..... I THINK i was off, itsall together, if i can get some help ill pull it out and put the hose and fire it up. 15'' was cut correctly. went together smooth, all lined up.
