Congrats, man. Looks like it runs out well. Stalked your thread on RDP several times, you put some work into that boat.

Lol! thanks! I have a fair amount of time spent on the rerig. All very well spent! Taking the time to get the CG right was worth every hour. Also very fortunate to have some very knowledgeable help! I read all the 4 stroke bashing on here and just laugh. There is NO comparison to the opti i removed. Every single person thats ridden in my boat without fail says how "smooth it is" LOL! I have to point to the simrad to show 'em we're cruising at 65.... i put 96 hours on that engine from the first week in june and no problems. I certainly wasnt "nice" to it.... managed quite a few 100+ mile day trips too.
Hopefully i can get it plugged in soon to see the hours breakdown. I'm curious to see it. There's a few things that I'll be working on this winter, so keep tabs on the "23 Kryptonite" thread i have going in outboard church section on RDP.
Thanks for the kind words!

Hula, I know its getting cold up there so .maybe you should drag the boat over here for the winter. You can fly in & use it all winter. I could keep the boat warm on the weekends you can't make it.

What prop are you running?
Have you seen toffen’s setup? Seems to be a similar setup and speed.

My everyday, just go boating prop is a labbed 24 maximus.
It runs out at 82mph and a tick over 7k rpm.
Handles a boatload of people (4 adults, 2 teen girls) 2 full coolers, and 55 gallons of fuel.

i have no idea what i'd ever replace it with. I absolutely love the lines of it, handles way bigger water than i want to be out in, has plenty of room to spend nights on, hauls ass..., tows super easy...
for my needs, wants, its a homerun.
love this boat.

3200 lbs, nice.. I have had 24 Pantera's and Carrera's ss7m and they came in at like 4500 lbs. With pumped up 468 ci they would be pressed to get 75 mph. With TRS drives..

Went over toRDP and checked out your tread.. nice work!. I want to ask you wiped the dash panel down with a product called MEK before clear coating. What would MEK be?.
