    Update. So after many changes to boat (New paint, seats, upholstery, change to center steer, 12" set back manual jackplate, 15" mid section, nose-coned torque master, and a 1998 Promax 300 powerhead) I was able to hit 89mph at 6300 rpms with the same 28p chopper 2 that used to only get me 80mph. This is with prop centerline 1/2" above the pad. Have a new Hill 32p Drag 5 on the way. More testing with higher engine height with 28 chopper 2 and the new Drag 5 to come.
