I desided to go for new pistons and got a nice set of top pinned pistons through JSRE. And they are now assembled in my block. Prewiosly I had a compression between 131 - 135 psi, now I got between 145 -152 psi. I also went for the thinner head gasket (0,75mm). I only been running the engine in my small water tank, just to adjust idle timing end so.
I am looking forward to get out on the water, to see if there will be some improvements in power. I know I have to make a brake in time, so after that its WOT time,,,,,.

If I remember correctly(I've slept since then)they were ground round to match the pin. Before installing I checked the end gap to see if they were within spec.

I don't know enough, to leave well enough alone.

Those are side pin rings trying to run on top pin pistons.
Only the little tits at the bottom of the ring are touching the pin before it failed.

Found a couple of Break-in procedures. It seams that they are different, depending of who you are talking to. And between us Pirates theese are more guidelines than ruels,,,,
Year I know, I know,,, can not just fly and scream ad once so i will behave and do my best to be gentle and follow the guidlines.
