    When I had it, I just trimmed up and any hop went away instantly. When under trimmed, the nose keeps slapping the water. Trimming up makes the front get above the water

    Yes just power threw!! That hop is just the air building psi then exits out the rear over and over. And until there is enough speed and air psi to hold the hull up in the air.True Cats all have this no big deal! Also turn just a touch to give the air a path to exit the rear easier as speed increases.
