I've been driving Cummins diesels since the mid 90's with a programmer, I've been cut off whatever and pissed off get along side at the next light hit performance and fill there car with perfume, I try not to do it but...
I will never sell my 09 Ram, it's only got 200,000 miles on it, has never used a drop of oil, in 25 years of Cummins diesels I've only replaced one water pump and just put a MAP sensor on this one, not bad.
Also have a Duramax high top, van, the ultimate sleeper going to make it a mini motor home to take to motorcycle and boating events.
But i will buy a Tesla pickup when they come out, my brother said I'll inherit his model SLast edited by CUDA; 11-01-2019 at 06:02 AM.

As mentioned, batteries as such a poor and inefficient way to store energy. Hence the low power to weight ratio. Even if you could get a battery to 400w/hr from the current 250 or so, i wouldn't want to be within 200 feet if it fails. Just not gonna happen in any appreciable way with fast boats.
