Doing this right now...
To an FMS Kingfisher. The AS3X has 3 adjustable gyros and is fully programmable through an app on your phone. Mine is set up like the video via Bluetooth.

Well it worked. Crazy trimming and setting it up with an app on my phone. Three gyros should make it easier to fly in the gusty winds. I programed and reassigned my the switch to control it with. Truly amazing what the new radios will do compared to the old analog radios.
All the rain, I am pretty bored. Fixing to pull out my 2 meter Beaver and install the same system in it.

That video is pretty much over my head Paul. What is the purpose of having an app on your smart phone for flying the plane?

It is for setting up the rate gain and head gain for the three axis gyros. You also set up servo functions such as reverse, exponential, end points, etc. The phone connects via bluetooth.
A function test of the gyros, you power the radio and plane up, select a flight mode, the pick up the plane, pitch up and it will try to correct with down elevator. Same with roll and yaw. It will correct and remain on course if the wind should bounce it around.
BTW Beaver has a telemetry RX, not one with gyros.

OK, so after I take my finger and turn the propeller backwards to where the rubberband gets double knotted up ,,, I gotta take out my phone before letting it go ???
