Epoxy Goof Up
I goofed on a batch of West Epoxy the other day.
I believe I mixed all hardener and no resin
After 1000's of mixes I cant believe it so, but I was dead tired
I thought it looked thin when I applied it
Luckily it was mixed with fillers in a plywood block lamination and not a big glass layup
The question is can I scrape off all of the mixture & clean with Acetone / Xylene and relaminate the wood?
or is it F****?
I'm concerned about the pure hardener that soaked into the end grain
The plywood block fabrication was a fairly complicated endeavor and I'd rather reuse it
Thanks for any insight!
