Thanks. Great to meet you. Enjoyed the visit. Scott sure can cook ! River ride was really nice. Nice to see some different water.
It will work just fine I'm sure. Weighing options and getting opinions. Don't want to cut this one up if I'm not going to race it.Cheaters never Win !!!

If you are not racing or in need of every last rpm, I would leave it alone...MPO. Anything I sell or run internally 99% of the time are bone stock.

It will only get a clean up to remove the ridges and such if I end up not using it to race

I've had several 225 pro max engines. They were excellent. I took off the oil injection and left the rest stock. With a 15" mid and a stock sporty i saw around 100 mph on my stv/modvp and early to mid nineties on my ss 2000 comp. Very reliable, smooth and fuel efficient for the day. If I remember correctly, I think my limiters were at 6700. Never blew one up.
I did miss the 7500- to 9000 rpm buzz my 260's had but I blew those up all the time. To fix this I had Diamond do a pair of my 260's and I was stunned on how well they ran. I was very impressed. Great guys to work with. My 280's were much better overall than my 260's.Last edited by scott reierson; 10-24-2019 at 03:04 PM.

Tux and Dave Driefort , you think removing the ridge in the exhaust port worth the effort ? Figured one of you have tried it both ways. Seems like it would disrupt things.
Scott I agree a nic motor is the way to go if you are going to zing one up. V6 Pro class don't allow nic motors.Cheaters never Win !!!
