"CC" means 150 block. The "1" is month made. "13" should be year, but that is not a 2013 motor.

What IS the powerhead then? 150 what? a 1996 XR6? any way to tell what model powerhead this is?
Nada lists 7 1996 merc 150HP that year, including a XR6. All the EFI's can be thrown out the window, leaving 4 to choose from.
I have no idea even to guess. But I'm sure their are some differences with the 4 models to choose from.
Most likely, all use the same parts with maybe different internals. (?) Serial # does me no good to research the powerhead.
Would be nice to know for sure tho.

I do. Believe cc block was xr6 150. Not 100% but 90. Theres a serial behind throttle arm where 2 block halves meet runnin vertical. Unless it's a replacement block. On those sum didnt have #s

Im not sure what you are trying to figure out. Your motor is a "mixed bag". Very obvious that it has a promax divider plate. Its nearly impossible to tell exactly what you have from the outside. Most parts are interchangeable on 2.0, 2.4 and 2.5 motors. Your motor could be a 2.0 or 2.5.

The stock ignition is good for over 300 hp and 10k RPM. Look elsewhere for modifications...

An update on what I have found out. Merc, you are right on track with this one.... after hours of researching. my mid IS 2001 XR6 and someone has change out the PH.
Build date 2-5-96 which is stamp on the block. "CC" is the stamp code for and 150hp XR6. so with this confirmed information, I have concluded the serial #s 0G303046 thru 0G760299
At least now a can get parts when needed and should not have to worried if they will fix or not.
Thanks again for all y'all help!
    Also a huge thanks to Mach351, here @ S & F.
