    Post Tohatsu Ign Specs

    Hey Folks

    I've got a 2006 Tohatsu "MFS 25 B" 4 Stroke (25Hp) that came into my shop that I'm trying to troubleshoot an ignition problem on. The factory service manual only references Ohm specs for diagnostics. They won't publish voltages. They probably don't want customers buying the manual and getting hurt probing connectors.

    But they do give out the voltages to authorized mechanics at their Service Seminars, so I know they're out there somewhere.

    Would anyone have those voltage specs they would share? I'm especially interested in specs for the "Exciter Coil" and the ECU power coil.

    Thanks Much;

    D.

    Thanks. I called and talked to some good ole boys there in Texas, and they emailed all the voltage specs!

    Now I wont have to test blind.

    Wow, OMC Training, Sawgrass, was run by four, but that was training only. The only tech calls they handled were from other OMC service reps and the like.
