    Lower crankshaft seal?

    Got an old 94 150 that i'm working on. Spark and fuel check out as good. Won't get on plane or seem to go over 3k r's. Pulled lower and found a ton of oil and fuel on pump and drive shaft. Looked up into mid and see seals have come out. Question is would this make the motor not rev up and plane out. Idles and starts great...Running out of possibilities on this one. Fuel system/pump and carbs are good. It's all that I can find wrong....Thanks for any ideas.

    Usually a consistent trip to 3000 indicates a bad high speed coil in the stator. If you lost the bottom seal on the crank it won't affect anything but if you mean the bottom two seals in the bottom cap maybe but I doubt it would consistently stop at same rpm. Good luck.

    I swapped the stator with a good one. Same with switch boxes. It all checks out. I am stumped on this one.

    Pull red/wht off swbzs.....have seen..... also have seen the seats for the float unscrew......acted like a bad stator. And fix them seals......
