    Prostate problems ?

I drove my motorcycle to my brothers yesterday, after 2 hours I started to get a weird sensation between my anus and sack, now my handlebars LSL's are a little lower than stock so I have a forward lean with that area a high-pressure area and the hard Corbin seat, as I told my brother about it He says you know I got Prostate Cancer at your age, he is 10 years older, his cancer was real bad because of it's progression, his Doctor was flipped about it waiting 7 months before the operation, once inside they found it to be much worse then expedited, I'm going to get blood work done this week, I hate the finger up the a$$ so last physical 9 months ago I said to him lets just say we did it, so he did not do the finger deal, because of my CDL I have another physical planed in January so if my PSA is at all elevated, I going for the finger and a cat scan

Your area of "weird sensation" you're referring to, I believe, might be called the "t'aint" or "taint"
    Yep, t'aint, definitely t'aint.
    T'AINT.

Go get the "finger" immediately. It's not a big deal and takes less than 10 seconds. It may very well save you life.

The dreaded finger invasion isn't needed anymore. Unless you have a doctor with a fetish for it, they don't enjoy it either.

Told my doctor last year when I thought I had an enlarged prostate he wasn't getting anywhere near my rear with those sausage fingers of his. He told me he doesn't do the digital rectal exam and that it wasn't any fun for him either.

Hope they don't find any cancer in ya CUDA. Do you drink a lot of coffee?

Hopefully this is just a case of bad posture on the motorcycle. My old harley used to beat up my ass and taint pretty bad until I put tape hangers on, after that it wasn't so bad

Just brought my dad home from the hospital this evening. He was diagnosed with prostate C 10 years ago. Since then it has gone to his kidney "had one removed 8 years ago", bones "sore all the time-pain never ends", and now its in his bladder tube and he just got fitted with a bag. This stuff sucks. You need to catch it early and then stay on it, this will buy yourself time. For all of the guys that are young, my advise is live life to its fullest, see everything you can see, do everything you can do, there is no time to kill-if you aren't working then you should be playing....

Sorry to hear Joe, sounds terrible best wishes, that's what I'm afraid of.

Bodhi had the bike 8 years it's not the seat, I wore safety leather overpants over my shorts, never had this type of sensation on rides five times as long, I gotten sore cheeks from the bones pressing without the overpants never with.

Cdave what you posted is contrary to everything I've read, I'm getting the finger and blood test this week, Yes I drink 1/2 cup of coffee black every 4/5 hours.

Could tell it was the between prostate and penis near the very end of my two hour ride both ways.

Wake up call, I'm taking this very seriously, like Joes story above, It's become all too common for men in their 60's and 70's.

I've gotten two PMs with other members personal stories.

    Thank You Jim

Coffee in conjunction with a lot of seat time from a truck or bike can irritate the prostate. I know from personal experience. I use to drink about a pot of coffee a day and back when I worked as an on call field mechanic some years I'd drive from 30-40K in my work truck and another 8-10K in my Mustang.
During those years I got an enlarged prostate and after some medicine and backing off the coffee the problem went away.

I'm not trying to tell ya what to do CUDA. It's your health, do what you and your doctor think is best.

Go get checked out. A motor cycle seat should not bother you that badly.

I'm #265 and this is my "bike" seat. Ride 11 miles to and from work

There's a "better" test through the University of Michigan, but you need to submit a recent PSA test result and have a doctor order the test. The finger-up-the-butt gives "false positives" about 60% of the time... then you end up with an unnecessary biopsy that causes problems of it's own.

Mi-Prostate Score is available to anyone but requires a request from a doctor. For further information, call the U-M MLabs at 800-862-7284. Patients with questions about prostate cancer detection or treatment may call the U-M Cancer AnswerLine at 800-865-1125.

I no longer fully trust doctors, due to personal bad experience(s). Very serious bad experience(s). What they say, and what they do. My sister inlaw included, who is a doctor.

I hear you my Brother has had many complication since his Prostate surgery, the Dr didn't operate immediately and only upon, his insistence did they operate.

Then his other Dr missed reading His test results and the RN said to him that his test results were some of the Highest She ever saw and the DR missed it? REALLY

He went in for emergency surgery,Got three stents, two 90 percent and one 80 and the DR missed reading the results
He has the best insurance where he pays no deductible or Prescription cost. Government ins.

He said a McDonalds was next door to his office and ate a LOT of bad food.
