98 Back Country 201 Pro Guide 2008 Mercury 250 ProXS DFI

1998 Wylie built Back Country 201 Pro Guide. Purchased from original owner that had it built new. Fast and dry. One of, if not the best riding flats boats made.

2008 Mercury Pro XS DFI has around 350 hrs on Mercury Powerhead. All fuel and air injectors were cleaned and serviced at same time. New plugs and fuel filter with about 6 hrs. Lower unit fluid was always changed about every 40hrs. And water pump may have 10 hrs on it.
Bob's 6 inch jackplate with 2 more inches of Bob's Spacers. 8 inches of jackplate. (This had been the best setup.) When boat was rigged with motor. Light with a labbed 28 Bravo. Boat did 82 mph. With 25 Tempest and 2 people. 75 mph. Everyday trip loaded with 2 people on the 25 Bravo XS. Will run baitwell loaded close to 70 mph. Cruises at 45 mph and gets 5.4 mpg. I can usually fish all day on 8 gallons. Always ran on Mercury DFI oil. And 93 octane. Fuel never sits in boat. Always pumped into lawn mower. And fresh fuel ran.

Sits on Boat Master trailer with all new hubs, bearings, led lights. New winch and roller bumper.

*Boat needs knee braces reglassed to transom. And splash well removed and decked straight across. (sits low in rear with this motor. And water comes in splashwell drain hole if plug isnt inserted) Knee braces are starting to pull away from transom. I have had straps on it pulling it back tight. And there is no flex otherwise. Have fished this way for a few years now. Boat was fished often and we have outgrown. There are no soft spots on deck anywhere.

*There are dings and chips. (Shes a 20 year old fishing boat) And hull could use a good wet sand, cut and buff. Could prolly bring back some of her luster. Some screw holes from previous owners accessories that I didnt need. Had front casting platform and push pole holder, had a different trolling motor mounted with those isolation toggles before dogbone was mounted. Also where Lowrance was mounted. Clarion head unit doesnt work. Stereo is fed from a Fusion Bluetooth straight to amp. 4 Kicker 8 inch. 2 - Kicker 6.5s. 1 - MB Quatrz 10 inch shallow sub. (Sounds like cone is delaminated). On a JL 700/5 amp. 2 smartcraft gauges could use a trip to gaugesaver.com and have the display quartz done. Has stand alone fuel, voltage and water psi gauges.

Livewell is fed from a new 800 Shurflo Bait Sentry and has a transom mounted high speed pickup also. Release well also has a 800 Shurflo Bait Sentry plumbed. Front livewell is also plumbed with a pump. And is very well insulated. But never used for bait. Always stored cast net in here. Or used as a cooler on sandbar days.

Got a quote from the marina where I bought the new boat, They quoted me 1500 low side, 2500 on the high side to grind and reglass knee braces, and deck across.

Not really looking for trades. Already purchased new boat. But will entertain offers. 12k OBO.

Possibly looking for a side by side, golf cart. Will take partial for a New in Box 72" Minn Kota 36v Terrova trolling motor and 10ft Power Pole blade. (Will deduct Bass Pro Shops retail price for them.)
