The American Made ones are Standard FJ118. Don’t know if you have O’Reilly Auto Parts buy you, they stock them $89.00 US.
Sent a message to factory with questions about two stroke applications.

Just saw CI STV post. Rock Auto has a better price.
Maybe with the manufacturer name and part number you can find them local.

That video says it all! Says they were sold as American Made but were made in China!

The Standard FJ118 is “supposed” to be made in USA.

    Blake,
In the past injectors with a piss stream like some are showing ran like crap. JMO you have to have good atomization of the fuel even in a two stroke crankcase application.

After all of this, I’m just happy that Blake is making us some nice bolt in hose-feed injectors…

So you're saying you have 2.5 hose feeds or Pink Tips with a different spray pattern?

EDIT: They also vary a bit with fuel pressure. Those picutres are at 3 bar.

Damn I guess I bought one of the last sets of crankcase injectors from merc this year! It was like 1500 for the set and I was so mad at that price but now I'm kinda happy. They were nothing like the China made ones I got. Seemed genuine quality built.

In regards to the above comment, I have seen the pink tips flow different patters but constant volume through the rpm range. Like onetime said, the better atomizing ones run better if they are flowing the right volume. If they are atomizing but not flowing enough you might as well throw them away. In the end I've found its better to have a matched flow set than all atomizing but different flows.

Just for the sake of this information I ordered a set of those SMP injectors. I hope I can get my $500 back if they are trash. If I can't send em back to Rock Auto after, who wants to stick them in a motor and see what happens?

Blake , you need to tell them that the pictures are that of "open flow" settings.

Pulsed provides a whole different view ..

Yes, that's correct. Held open is really the only way to get a decent picture.

If you have instagram here you go.

Hose Feeds: Look a little better when pulsed.

Yep, it would also be tough to measure it's value if it was closed half the time ..

There was some cornfruzion earlier , when someone stated that "stream" was a poor pattern .. or injectors that patterned like that didn't run very well . Just wanted to clear that up ..

I also asked early in this thread, if someone ever paid the "Up~Charge" to have injectors "adjusted" .. so far nuttin but crickets ..

I did a block (sleeve) for a guy. Naturally he sent his injectors out to be cleaned and flow checked. He told me the guy "hemmed and hawed" a bit, charged him for one injector to be adjusted .. but that he could run it , but one should really be replaced.
Chaz, I don't really want to run them .. would you check them out for me.
Now I really don't want to get in the injector business, but I need to know an injectors value before I put it in one of my motor builds. So I bought my little chineese friend.
Lets give them cleaned babies a run ....

    Startin out good ...

    Mid way thru ...

Chaz = thinkin , I'd be puttin another sleeve in ..

And the other 5 don't look so good either ..

Mr. Adjustment head , if you got tired of cleaning injectors for a quarter each and started chargin folks another quarter to "adjust" a perfectly good injector .. you really should find something else to do .. cuz these motors are getting harder to find and not everyone wants a sawed in half motor or a ****** porkchop ..

One of mine and ten minutes in the hot tub ...

    My note said :

    #1 and #6 goes in Cyl #1 + #2
    #3 and #4 goes in cyl #3 + #4
#2 goes in cyl #6 #5 goes in cyl #5

Not rocket surgery .. just common sense ..

Chaz, I'm putting the lid back on that can of worms. You know how this ends if we get going down that path!

I think the problem is that when you buy the Merc/Bosch injectors, the “up charge” is included, without the “adjustment”! Seems like the only thing Mercury adjusts is the price! !

Chaz, how does your little Chinese friend “Autool” work? That’s the one I’m looking at. Just need to find someone other than Bezos the bozo’s company that can ship it overseas to me anytime before next year.
