Doug Wright and Performance boat center raise the bar
The first 36 foot Wright/Performance rigged with 450s ran 130 just moments after been put in the water for the first time. Larger dia., pitch, and perhaps a touch more rake will be put into the next set of propellers and they see the potential for another 4 or 5 mph. Going to the top with speed and handling has become normal procedure for the Wright/Performance team. The previous speed "best" for the DW360 was 126 with 400R power.

I'm not surprised. I've gone 123 in one with the 400Rs, they are awesome.

What is the latest with the new / updated 32 they were working on? I would think it might have potential to have even a little more speed in it.

There are 4 of them out of the mold so far. One is shipped out, one is at paint, another goes to paint tomorrow, fourth will be in primer by the end of the week and the next will be out of the mold first of next week. These new 32s are 5 inches wider, weigh 150lbs less, and have changes made to the running surface. Doug says that it will be faster then the last generation but doesn't want to speculate on how much.
They are definitely faster to build and there are a bunch of them on order.
36 left and 32 right-

So the new 32s have wider tunnels(5"?), more aerated running surfaces, and weigh 150 lbs less? Sounds like a combination that should bring some speed gains.

They are glassed inside and out at the deck joint. You can see where the line is fared in full length in post #8 pic. #4. You don't see these come apart unlike some others that have in recent months "no names mentioned" but plenty of people witnessed it and were in shock.

They are taking it to a new level with fit and finish for sure!
I bet if they could rent time in an industrial wind tunnel tweaks could be made that would show even more gains.
