Exclamation Head On. That was close.

Driving down the hwy out in the country coming back from the store with beer on my passenger seat, doggie in the back seat. Thinking about cooking and eating supper with my son.... I see two cars approaching one behind the other. Right at the last minute, the car behind yanks out to pass. I was like, F**k, that is close!!!! I hit the brakes hard with bright lights blazing. The car being passed realized what was happening and braked hard also. That sure helped us both. I would have left the road partially, but not enough to kill myself. My truck weighs over 7K# and has a 3" level with 34" tall shoes. I can take out an Impala. Or at least make a mark to provide proof. These days, you leave the road and roll over, they will keep going............. SO, anyway as they cross into the other lane, I get right next to the center line. F**k them!!! Doggie hit the rear seat (Charlie is fine. Thankfully Aussies are TOUGH) and I have broken beer leaking in my floor!!! I almost turned around but had to check on doggie.

Not two days ago I was passed in a no passing zone on same hwy. 55mph speed limit. I was doing 60 when they passed me. This is common.

SO, will video from a civilian hold up in court? I am done anyway. Going to get cameras just to protect myself. F**king ass holes!!!

Any camera system recommendations? Shall we start another thread titled as such?

At this point I am done!!! Fixing to happen. I need at least two permanent systems and one movable for my hotrods.

Some real assholes on the road! Glad the dog and you are ok..
I have a couple I got off eBay but so far other than looking at the driveway I haven't used them. But I got them because they plug into my Android touch screen stereo computer and have wifi wireless cameras and have one hooked up on the back of the boat trailer and can store and play back right on the screen in the truck.

    200 bucks two cameras.

Garmin is more money, but more versatile. You can link up to 4 cameras together. Garmin is winning so far.

Link for the Qvia for a retailer. $220 two camera, GPS included. Says regular $359.

    https://www.finedashcam.com/collecti...-imx326-sensor

Garmin you buy separate cameras. Getting the 56 with a Mine and the cable to set it up for parking. It is more, but thinking of doubling this because I drive two trucks. If I go on a trip with the boat, etc, I can have 4 cameras going at once!!!

Factory price. Amazon is a bit cheaper until you add shipping, etc.

    56 $200
    Mini $129
    Power cord $ 34

So, $353? But it IS Garmin. How much is your deductible?

    Mini: https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/62.../010-02062-00#

Power cord to enable motion sensors when parked. https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/pn/010-12530-03

She's a beaut!!! I have to do some wiring to get them both working. I have a port that switches on with the key so...

You have to clean the surface on the glass of course, and cut window tint away in the rear of mine. The metal piece is a magnet so you get two cars worth of them. I need to order more!!!
