If your thinking about a 3 liter, the late 90's model 200/ 225 vindicator will fly with the right hands on the inside

That would be a 3.o liter not a 2.0 liter.

Never heard of a 3 liter cross flow.
    I know looper v6 went from 2.7 to 3.0 in 1988.
It's all just numbers, man, those omc's changed so damn much during the mid to late eighties, it can be difficult to keep track of all that...... Cross flow, looper, 60 degree, 90 degree, 2.6, 2.7, 3.0, blah blah blah!

Indeed I agree, no disrespect Rochelle at all, sometimes I do get things wrong, the loopers were some mean machines, I was still a wee lad when the old man had his 235

None taken, I'd rather discuss fishing than engine displacement b.s. anyway.

Will....... shhhhhhh, the fishing sucks! Rochelle, I have family in Ocala. They raise hayburners!!! I spent a lot of time on the rainbow as a kid. We would spend hours tramping around rainbow springs after it closed down. Those cool old glass boats that you stepped down into. We would sit there for hours watching bass the size of platters swim by...... the good times.
