2.4 on 2.5 chasis

guys i have a 1993 2.5 v6 200,would a 1990 2.4 v6 power head fit on my 1993 chasis.thanks

U mite have a issue with exhaust relief in the mid , it changed from 2.4 to 2.5 , I haven't done that swap yet so not exactly sure what would b needed for that relief , the 2.5 on 2.4 mid easy tho ,, u mite have to use the 2.5 adapter plates so the relif will have sumthin to hook to

You would just need to replace the adapter plate on the bottom of the powerhead or exhaust port match... the exhaust ports are smaller on the 2.4, the mercury v6 2.0L, 2.4L, 2.5L are all interchangeable.
