1980's Mod V6 Flatback Crossflow Drop On

Early 1980's Scalloped Block, scalloped pistons, new rings, porting, 1 5/16" carbs. I have full set of electronics but I think there is a power pack out or something, I am sure it can be used but will need some diagnosis to get it up to snuff. 400.00 OBO - taking up room on my bench and I have swapped to the dark side. you pay shipping, I will crate it.

Any possibility of some pics? I have a tired 20'' 1981 150 that would appreciate a new powerhead. will the electronics from mine bolt right on? Does this include the flywheel and stator?

Yes, complete drop on but I think one of the power packs are bad. What boat is this going on if ya buy it? The reason I ask is the porting let's the motor turn higher RPM but it took away some bottom end. So needs to go on a light boat. If it's a heavy boat, the 200 I have for sale is unmolested and great low end.

It's hard to get a honest seller so the buyer has no surprises upon taking it out 1st time , most people would had just sold it to who ever had the $ without telling bout bottom end cause of port work. That's y I like s&f so much , 90% honest people not tryin screw people for a buck. And this seems like a killer price. Glws rj

Thanks Merc 2.5. Its priced for someone to take it and see what they can do with it. It ran well when I first put it on the boat, then had some spark issues and when trying to fix those an airbox bolt got loose and sucked in the star washer and ended up having to bore that cylinder and I re-ringed the other pistons as well. Still needs attention to the electronics and I noticed the carbon reeds are not flat so new reeds would be a good call as well. If I didn't start buying mercs I would be running it again, but this time with nitrous. Hell, the bore, new piston, new rings, and gaskets all cost about 400.00!
