Got the expensive pressure and vacuum Mityvac..,
Where can I get the fittings that are hose barb on one end and whatever thread size and pitch I need for the other? I have Merc, Evinrude and Yamaha outboards with LU that are due for soap bubble checks.

Or eBay just search barbed to threaded fitting and size or scroll thru

Stevens Instruments also has them specific to gear oil drain plug threads.
