Can you move the batteries to the helm area?

Wedges do work. I used to run them, but took them off. It was nice for the holeshot but I didn't really need to get the bow down when running so I took them off because holeshot wasn't important for me.

What prop are you currently running? Maybe you can find one that offers more stern lift

Don't want to move batteries to front because Rangers set pretty low in the water as is.. Running a power tec PTC 4r 20 pitch.. Have talked to power tech about running a more Stern lifting off shore prop But my hole shot is excellent but just can't keep my front in down at lower speeds say 20 to 25 miles an hour.. Need to keep the be of my boat down to cut waves in to the 2 to 3 ft chop

+1 on the hydrofoil. They've worked well for me to raise the stern, get on plane faster and cut down on porpoising. My boat is also stern heavy.

Thanks for the input guys.. Hydrofoil was going to be my next option. I do most of my fishing on Lake Michigan so most of the time I need my front end to be pinned.. Like almost to the point of plowing water.. Seems like every time I'm in the big chop I always catch myself saying if I could just tap my tilt n trim a couple more times..

You may want to try a Bravo 1 prop or a Rev 4 ….they are good stren lifing props . If they do better then you may also thinking about have them worked for your boat

Was going to try the rev 4.. I have run a lot of a Mercury props before but I am still kind of a power Tech prop man.. Their equivalent to rev 4 is ofs 4 blade. Power Tech offers you to try a prob and if it isn't what you want they will take it back for $50

For the conditions you describe, wedges are the perfect solution.

Thanks boosted !!! When it comes to tweaking a boat for your individual needs It's hard to find people that can help you.. Boat dealers just put a motor on it and think it's good to go..lol

Ya ur rite, wedges for more neg trim will help , motor/plate adjustment,,and hydrofoil, will get nose down ,stern up and low speed cruise , I still stick with my original statement bout hydrofoil. It will cruise low speed on top nose down for very little money , matter fact I got 2 old school ones that I'll send to u for shipping to try. U wont b disappointed but after tryin mite find a newer kind ?
