For sale is a 1972 140hp 15" short shaft inline six tower of power w/ Bobs nose cone & low water pickup and includes all controls, Mercury Service Manual, Engine Stand, and several spare parts. The Engine S/N is : 3427233.


The lower unit was sent out to Bobs and was just completely resealed, new water pump installed, and filled with Hi-Performance Mercury Gear Lube. The lower unit has not been reinstalled since having the cone and low water pickup done.
This was purchased to be installed on a vintage tunnel but have since sold the boat to a collector therefore I am listing this motor and all spare parts for sale.
The motor was run on a hose last season and fogged very well. I have listed the compression and leak-down numbers below and can run the engine and will perform compression test, etc. for the buyer.
Listed below are just some of the spare inline parts that will be included with the sale of the motor (some 140hp, some for a 115 inline, and some for both) but I am willing to separate if needed. Spare CDI Harness, Stator, Flywheel, Starter, Carbs., Fuel Pumps, Trim Pump, 4 trim lines new in unopened packages, distributor, and more parts which are not listed.
