    pro marine hydraulic steering

Helping my neighbor switch over to hydraulic steering on his bay boat. looking thru the pro marine website I see what looks like there own branded steering system. 350 hsteer. It is more than he needs for his 140 but looks like it might be a better system, and around the same price as the 150hp and under kits.

Anyone have any first hand knowledge? Are they any good, quality?

Could be, I don't know anything about them... but they both have the same green Hynautic label on them.

Went ahead and ordered it. Looks like a quality piece. Stainless rods on cylinder, not plated. Helm has stainless input shaft!, not aluminum junk like seastar. So far I like it. Time will tell.

Would it not have been easier to just type in the price?

A picture of the ram. I'll put some up after the install.

The placement of the bleed ports isn't ideal as it limits the angles you can install the hoses from.
