There's nothing new about either of these scenarios... 2 weeks ago you were talking to them direct and now you're waiting a year?

Lol well the plan was always to pull the trigger next summer/ fall because yes none of the above mentioned scenarios are new. Im the type of guy that know when I will buy something but not exactly what, then I’ll inquire and research and test drive and ponder and calculate. And when the time comes I know exactly what I want and how to get it. I annoy salesman but I always get what I want in the end. *♂️

I'm thinking of getting a Pulsare for our next project boat and doing a few upgrades, testing etc. Either a CPO 250 ProXS or a 250R.

    I've had a Pulsare 2100 with a 225Xri/13.5" of setback/Trophy Plus 26 that consistently ran 77Mph. I had a Pulsare with a 250XS/14" setback that ran 81/82. I had a Starflite with
a Pro XB 250/7" setback/Trophy Plus 27 that ran 82. I've had friends with Pulsare 2100's/300xs that have all run low to mid 90's. I know Wildman ran a Pulsare 2100/300xs to 98 and change. I think the boat is capable of breaking the 100mph barrier with either the 300R or 300XS with the right setup. On another note, I would love to see what a Pulsare 2400 would do with a new 450R. Best I've seen with my Verado 300 on my Pulsare 2400 is 72 turning a Bravo One 24 and 8" of setback.

Some solid numbers there. There’s a new 2400 on my lake with a 400r, says he’s pullin 84. I don’t think he’s had it reflashed yet and I don’t think he’s got it quite dialed yet either so there is probably some extra speed in it.

Some of us are not at sea level as well, so the big numbers are a little harder to get.

Great numbers on your 21. Do you have more pics of your 24? I love that color scheme. I think the new V8 300R or XS would be great on the 24, it's not the fastest hull, but it's a great boat all around.

Might use a 21 Pulsare for a project boat next year, and thinking the 250R might be the best engine for it.

I would opt for the 300R for the money. A few extra ponies never hurts and I don't think there is a great price difference between the two motors.

Here's a few pictures that I found of my 2400!

250 is not even worth considering. 300 makes the package.

The factory has sold some 2400's with 400R's as well as the 300 PRO XS V8. I think mine will be the first factory rigged 2400 with a 300R and hope to take delivery of it next week. I ordered an Atlas hydraulic jack plate with 10" of set back to begin with. After I break it in it will be prop testing time.

That will be great. Awesome engine for it. Keep us posted.

    On a 21? 250R would be perfect.
