id be curious to know where you'd come in on the pricing, with the Canadian dollar where it is every penny counts!

They are usually about the same as a 21 Liberator . Haven't priced on in a while, but around $70-$75k with a 300R and the "GO FAST" setup!

What is your elevation? I am at 850'.
Good numbers. What prop works best for your set up?

Solo/light load 32” Bravo, I usually run with 2-4 aboard so I run a 30” Bravo or a 27”Solas Scorpion, the Solas props run 2” over pitch so it runs like a 29”. 1:75 lower it turns 59-6100 rpm.

I'd opt for the 250R, it doesn't give much up, and gets you really close to the numbers the 300XS was doing. The 300R would be incredible, but personally, it seems a bit over powered. I must be getting old though.

I'd love to see how a new 225 V6 would run on a 21. That would be an economical setup.

you must be getting old lol, I would loose any and all respect from my boating peers if I hung a 250R on a new 21 checkmate.

Yes, he must be getting old. I'd do a 450 if I wanted to spend the money and I'm 66!

The 2400LD and BRX with a 450R would be a really nice package, but not cheap.

YES i DID. i WAS GOING TO PUT A NEW 300XS ON IT FOR A SCREAM AND FLY RUN, BUT I FIGUERED THAT THE SINGLE CABLE STEERING MAY BE UNSAFE. NOTICE THAT IT SITS PRETTY WELL IN THE WATER. I still have the boat for sale with no motor. Never titled and still like new.

Haha. You'd probably pass most of them on the water though.

likely true, but 300 is an even number so....

Purchase will likely have to wait a full year with the current uncertainty of the Canadian resource industry and politics threatening my livelihood. hate to have to let the bank repo my new boat because im laid off in 6 months lol. but hopefully in that time the wait for a 300R will go down to a reasonable time span. and maybe someone will rig one and post some numbers by then too, who knows.
