Hellkats is calling it a 32 widebody. I’m assuming they added 2 feet somewhere that’s why I was asking.

From my understanding this is the same boat that hellcats just introduced as their widebody 32, so I’m assuming they must have bought it from Todd?

I don't know the details, but my gut feeling tells me the two builds are related.

No Todd bought the boat cut it in half did all the work nothing to do with Hellkat, Todd is trying to start his own boat company, poor guy he makes real easy money in real estate he owns Naples Reality Services and a construction company that builds spec houses.
The whole boat thing is just work, labor of Love, Hobby, someday maybe but more about pride, love of boating than a real $$ maker.

He is luckie to have Frankie as a true friend, (owner of all marine) Frankie is as much into doing CRAZY projects as he is, I'll get some pictures of a build he just put together a 39 foot V bottom for himself, Frankie just competed a Jeep project, He bought a corvette cheap cut the whole body off, if he could not unbolt it he sawzall it off, had someone make aluminum body parts to look like JEEP, never a dull moment at his place always a project underway.

Remember that STV that someone stuffed and broke the nose off, It's almost back together at All Marine Frankie has a new STV toy.

Opps I just found out this boat was bought by Hellkat boats, that was fast, last week it was not for sale, this week It's Hellkat's it all happen this week.

Yes this is their new wide body boat CRAZY.

They did some horse trading, Todd will be getting a carbon fiber Edition of this boat, still a lot of work to get it ready to pull a mold, it will fly.

A lot more air packing underneath .

That's what I get for listening to "cuder" instead of looking at the pictures closely...

I briefly texted back and forth with Todd last night, yes it's true. He sold the boat and all legal right's to build it to He11cat boats .. Congrats to both men and their company's .. Awesome boat , great deal for both ..

    Chaz = thinkin, I shoulda known . I'd recognize that wheel .. err ... trailer anywhere .

It's Duder to you, I'm so sorry I was a handfull days off, Todd said his new wide glide boat will be for relaxation not racing, he likes the bottom design of his 28 ft race boat he built from scratch, now is he going to make a mold of that, then extend it 4-5 feet or...

I believe I would have asked for a super deal on building a mold of the 28 Wicked race boat... I told him he could use my chop -gun, what I've done in the past is hand lay two layers of fiberglass mat then chop the rest it's strong but heavy ... i

Hey Chaz did you ever know Puppet from the Buffalo area, He owned a Welding shop that only built motorcycle drag bike frames, I remember 35 years ago he built a frame for Elmer Trett out of Titanium, they learned that the titanium flexed a lot more than the Chromoly tubing, that frame ended up back in his shop as a ceiling decoration.
    Live and learn.

It is said that Paul Gast was "Puppett DiTullio's" first customer. But i hear from a good source that "The Duder" was first in 1951 with this Turnip . 15.50's @ 82 MPH was blazin back in them days ...
I'll bet you got a full set of Wentworth tools to go with it ..

Kosman, Puppett, Sam Wills, Timblin, have all put a mark on motorcycle drag racing.
Puppett passes about a decade ago. Kosman sold all but the wheel widening buiz a good thirty years ago. Besides record setting fuelers, Wills built the frames for American chopper and Timblin does most of the Outlaw street bikes these days. Dan Wagner built some pretty fast bikes when he lived down here. John Sachs Jr. and Kim Morrell wanted in our Q-16 program @ Moroso .. we let em in, they had the ability to qualify. Then we cracked their azz ..
You didn't think we was gonna let em walk with our $3000.00 a race "Seminole Hard Rock" money ... did ya ...

Mr. Cuder ... you didn't really just say .... "glass chopper gun" and race boat in the same sentence ... Ohhhh Myyyyyy ...

Paul Gast shop was a stones throw from Puppets welding works shop on Grand Island, back then it was a small one door garage, he had one employee then, next door to him was a machine shop that did Gast machine work till he did it in house, That's where I hung out in the early 80s next door was a HP boat shop, one happy family till... I will not go there. Puppet was Cool.
