You get what you pay for?! No wait........lol
I think the simple fact is most of the people who are interested in these huge boats with four or five motors are really more concerned about image than the actual craftsmanship.

It clearly states six bolts for 350/400 Varado installation requirements but 90% of the load is at the top trying to pry if engine off the transom the photo shows the bowing of plates and the gap . It only take a little time of skipping in rough water to have it flopping on the back

Now if I can only fig how to rotate pic
When taking pictures (with my phone) take them "landscape" style. another words, take pic's with your phone longways to the horizon.
Upload. The software here will NOT let you rotate pic's on this forum. @ least I have not found a way yet.
If someone knows better please throw a bone in here!If you think this is fun, wait til next weekend!

All that power an only 21 p. I matain a 38 fountain with 275s with lab 26 bravo1 75 mph ..Would be cheaper to repower a old 2004 an still have gas money, speed ,ride, and a decent Hull ... My cousin in Miami told me this hull had a hull delaminate in a soardfish tournament in Bahamas east wall by hope town total loss now I know ya have to wait a few years on these newer boats to get seasoned or scraped out

The fine "Quality work" done by a merc shop. Why won't the sell me a motor in a box? I could do it better than the merc mechanic.

Merc in the box ... You or I , no way
But if you buy a lot of em , Sales office , tends to look the other way ..
What you guys are seeing is part of the "new green glueless" mounting system.
Just slide the top and bottom bolts in dry and tighten them up with an airgun till you hear the glass cracking. Then you put the "high elastic" center bolt and tighten it until the air gap is reduced to half ... and your all set !
Then as the transom begins to rot, the center bolt will continue to pull until : the last payment is made, wty expires on hull and motor . After that, expect any or all bolts to break or pull-thru their elongated holes ..
"New green glueless" has the full support of ...
