1999 135 Optimax
This is just the third Opti I have built so I am not very knowledgeable on the Optimax. Current project is a 135 needed 1 hole bored and the motor is in good shape other than that. Now that I am ready to assemble I have a couple questions. First of all is I have never seen head gaskets like these. The others I built were o-ring. Are these gaskets re-usable? I know you can't re-use head gaskets on a typical on a standard V6 Merc but these are unlike anything I have seen before andknow they are expensive. The other question is the difference tween the 135 and 150. I see the big air choke on the horn but does that affect power being it's a DFI and if so is there a difference in the ECU to compensate. Iirc choked tb is just computer unless block on is different
115 of that year iirc is way off
