ive coned more then i can remember!!! how i did it, i welded all around the round part of the bullet then 3 inchs down on each side from the top and welded the top in as the cone surface travel down toward the bullet it becomes too wide to weld i leave this part untouched and level the case horizontally and pour epoxy in the void so it never collects water if a leak develops internally and it has no space left for any . me being a life time welder a filet weld is always stronger then a plug weld think about it! it coves much more surface the what u can heat up to make good weld especially thru aluminum!!!! CHAZ where u at mister ive seen your master pieces on welds with the tig
