Posted on Facebook. 38” pitch did not work well. 118mph. Changed to a custom cowling and I believe 122mph. From Randy’s facebook post.

Well, I'm kinda disappointed. It would not turn the 38. I put the 34 back on and ran 119. Then we put a modded cowl on that Steve Bishop came up with and ran 122 on the limiter at 6450. That's 4% slip. All the 21-22 Liberators with 4 strokes and the Hill cleavers are running 4% slip! I still need to work on some handling issues over 115. I have a 36 coming next week. You can see in the pic that I'm running negative trim at 2 5/8" above the pad.

The 4.6's seem to need more air. Steve made these ram-air type vents in the top of the cowl. I can really hear the blower whine with this cowl. This pic is in primer. We will soon have inserts for all the V8 cowls. MUCH cheaper than an aftermarket cowl!

I just had a haircut Tuesday. Now 2.5" long. As far as the mustache, the wife won't let me lose it. It's been there since 1972!
