Enclosed Transom Pics
Putting my 21 Action CC back together. Any pics of an enclosed transom would help me on my project. Terrified to put a hole in the wrong place. Assuming the placement of main harness is mounted in the middle and the steering lines on top of the transom. Does the hydraulic jackplate power line get fed back through the cowling ? All new territory for me and mad respect for people that rig boats professionally.

Check out the Paramount thread on the Hull Truth.
Lots of good ideas.

Thanks. Saw a few nice ones. I have seen a few with rigging tube in middle and some with the rigging tube offset to the side. Looking for a close up to see how it makes more sense.

I try to use as few a 90 degree fittings, in any hydraulics, as possible. Preferably none. Straight thru-hulls only. Thats just me.

I am running the bulkhead hoses that are one piece. Two connection points. I have seen some rig the tube offset and some in the center. Trying to find pics to figure what I like best. I may do steering hoses centered and rigging tube offset. I know it sounds crazy but I don’t want to mess this up. It’s a virgin enclosed transom.

what you do is: bolt up the motor to the bracket - trim/tilt the engine up all the way - manually turn the motor lock to lock while holding the rig tube in place while attached to the front of the engine - make up your mind on placement - trim motor all the way down - repeat.
