Yes he did - when he was younger. And Reggie was one of the few who actually ran both big (offshore) boats and small (tunnel hull) boats. So we now have one or two guys who ran offshore what I'll call "semi-solo" since they both had other people in the boat at least to navigate. Still sounds like it takes more than one guy to run offshore - hard - to me.

Bob Nordskog throttled and steered. I think one tag along was the navigator and the other a mechanic

At the end of Norskog's career they used a hoist to get him in and out of the boats. He was in his 70's
