    2007 300xs odd fault/smartcraft issue.

    Engine has offshore mount/trim. Getting a fault that states “ trim sensor angle or improper propeller, see dealer”. Puts engine into guardian mode.
    I’m running the same propeller that’s been on the boat since new.
    As for the trim, engine is all the way down when trying to get on plane.
    The crazy part with all of this is my trim has never been correct, even if I calibrate it, it’s still not right. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Im thinking trim sensor is toast and telling my Ecm that engine is in trailer position, or shift switch is bad and telling ecm boat is in neutral. Just not sure how I could troubleshoot this.

    Dis-connect trim sensor and run it. Dis-connect the shift sensor and run it.

    Check tps voltage and cps

    under pitch comes from load sensor tps and rpm not matching the map.

    Trim should be digital sender. Check to see if it’s been bumped or the analog got hooked up.

    Setting its a pain. Worked on mine 2 weeks to get 0 0 and 10 10

    Have you reset the tach to go back to default yet? I read you have tried to calibrate it but is it seeing Zero or starting somewhere else..? Try resetting the default calibration and then see where it shows your starting point is.
