What year lower units fit 1984 Mercury 115 inline 6

My gear housing is toast. Has a crack in it. What years are interchangeable with 1984 beige band? Also what years and horsepower have the same gearing( Incase I find a whole lower unit)?

    thanks in advance.

In your other post ya say...its a Xel...25 inch? If so hard to find... best bet is to have it welded.....it is just salt pushing it out. Do it all the time.....Ya can weld it slow and not worry about the seals......Or beat ya head putting it in a new case....
