Oh you can do NOS on a carb setup.. I don't have pics of a 2.5 but had them for Evinrude looper motor like mine..
A guy I know had it setup for when he raced years ago and i was going to buy it just to have.. still might
It's just sitting in his shop collecting dust..

You should do it.. a small shot like 25

Not NOS! I’ve seen some spectacular blowups when the button has been pressed...
If I was desperate I would rather try nitro and methanol, but my boat is a family/recreational type of sleeper so these directions ain’t for me!
I’d rather find some other regular mods so this doesn’t get boring...
If I’ve missed something apart from cut reedcages and boost bottles, please let me know!

I was think more of like a 50 shot , not for everytime u hit gas ,but when a boat tryin pass u while "crusin " then just give it a hit and suck paint off his boat for sec then go bout ur business!

If I could hit it at 4 or 5k and keep it under 8k and make it live a season then I'll do it , and get this heavy pig close to 100 haha

Dont have ave pics of one assembled, but here’s one I removed the tubes from and epoxied up holes in intake. One tubes is for nos and one is fuel to richen up when activated. Both tubes pass through center of intake so both will go through all ports in the center corners of each port. Tried to get pics so it would make sense, can barely see the oriface holes in tubes for each cylinder in last pic. Never used it, but think it’s a 75 shot from what I’ve been told

Second pic of ports is a confusing one, the holes that are visible or the cross drilled holes I also filled. This should be a better pic. Holes in divider are the ones tubes pass through

For extra juice just run oxidized and up a jet or two in size. Can oxidized is better then e-10 pump but it works as well. And just as many issues as nitrous and does the same thing. Add oxygen to burn off all the available fuel.

Ive been thinking about the bottle. I think many prefer a standard spacer for velocity and volume.

A lot of those old spray bars were 1/4" brass, because to drill 3/16" stainless tubes accurately they really need to be done on an EDM machine.
Big tube take a long time to fill, and drain down slowly. Gets worse when you stand them on end. Smaller the better, and feed them from both ends.
I'm not one for junk inside the intake, but when they light this wire it's usually good for about 400~600 HP.
Couple interesting things happening. The nitrous is the "long straw" on the bottom. It provides a boundary layer of high-speed media ( N2O ) along the floor to keep the fuel from falling out of suspension. And it provides a vacuum behind the plume to pull the fuel along behind it .. Dare I say .. negative pressure wa
