Torque shift props
Hello everyone first post. I'm interested in the torque shift props. I was hoping someone on here had a damaged or broken one I could pick up cheep. Just want some hands on doesn't matter which model. I really the concept. Have read some of the comments. And thanks

I think that the parts supply has pretty much dried up. There was a guy that bought up the last of the inventory from Land and Sea but I think it's pretty much gone now. You may find someone with some old props around, good luck!

I have a bunch of them, I'll dig them out this week... I know I have one with a cracked hub.

I had one. It was awesome for getting on a plane. I cracked a hub surfacing it and got it replaced on warranty. I think the torqueshift may have contributed to a couple of my blown up XR4 gearcases.
It would be cool to see someone build them again, but with stronger (steel?) hubs.

A friend of mine gave me a quicksilver power2 prop to look at. From what I can tell, it shifts like a two speed. From what I can tell, the torque shift is a variable speed (meaning it doesn t have a shift point). The power2 is a very heavy prop, large blades with a strange shape (unlike the pictures of the TS, which look normal) I don t believe the power2 fit anything except mercury. Maybe someone knows for sure I realize this is an old topic, but it a New to me and possibly others. Thanks for putting up with me.
