97 Merc 225 vs 2000 Merc 225 intake / reed mod ???

Currently on my boat a have a 1997 Merc 225 EFI with a 2 butterfly intake. My question is, I have a 4 butterfly intake, ign & fuel ecu’s off of my old 2000 225 that blow up in my garage. Is it worth it to put the 4 butterfly intake and ecu’s on ??

I have also read that by adding the 4 butterfly intake, a set of reeds and a 250 ignition ecu that I will get a nice noticeable increase in HP. Would that be all
that I need, I really don’t want to swap heads or anything major.
