I like everything but that big azz wide-screen t.v. next to the steering wheel.
People have enough trouble keeping these things out of ditches and off walls, no need to have such a BIG distraction just out of your line of sight.
Reminds me of a cop car computer screen.
Dash is reminiscent of mid eighties camaro, deep and flat.
Cool console angled towards driver like a '71 Grand Prix I used to have.
Cool lookin intake under rear glass.
I kinda like the stingray logo on the rear deck, too!
I'll never be in the market for one, but I think it looks good overall.

Mid engine will bring a balance that has been missing. After you drive a mid engine, everything else feels like a go cart. New engine , new look, new market. Looks like they are really trying to make a drivers car. I like it a lot.....

I'm sure I'll ruffle some feathers with this comment, fair warning.
I don't think I'll ever be able to look at a Corvette without picturing Barbie and her pink Corvette. My sister ruined Corvette for me. It will forever be a chikmobile/ spinster/ secretary car along with jeeps. I can still picture that countach poster I had though, a man's car.

Too much of a change in the platform with the mid engine. Should change the name.
In other words, that is not a Corvette.

My feathers are sure ruffled. haha How could any hetro male not like Barbie? That's just not right......As far as the vette's go, if you have never owned one you wouldn't understand. Same for a jeep. And as for the lambo, it is a nice car but i'm sure chicks drive them too. Rich guys secretary's drive them. I know old rich spinsters drive them too. Painting any car pink is a sin though.

Corvette is the "American Sports Car." Pretty much all the V8 or bigger high performance 2 seaters are mid engine now days. What's wrong with GM building a car that's relevant in today's market?

If it runs as good as it looks it will be a winner. I can't believe it only cost 60K. This is basically a supercar for 60K. They can't be making any profit on this one. I like the way it looks mostly. The front half does look like a Ferrari though. They need to narrow the rear a bit and make those wheels either a skinny star wheel or the outline star wheel, not both.
Here's a vid on it.

The 60k is for a base model, pretty sure the options will add up fast. But that being said this looks like a sure winner for Chevy !

I doubt they're loosing any money. I'm sure it costs less to build a mid engine car than the separate engine/transmission/torque tube arrangement used in the C5-up Vettes...
