Steering setup
hi all,
i have have a small project using an early 60s Johnson that I would like to use with a teleflex steering cable. Obviously the motor of that age doesn’t have the threaded portion on the transom clamps like modern motors but I have a used steering cable already and would like to adapt some how. Has anyone done it with pictures to share? Thanks in advance

You can get a mount made by teleflax that mounts the cable to the transom

ya... if I get out and find one.....In My yard......local boat guy has many... old boats going to the crusher.....
