i see the concrete at 1st bridge is still there, i hit the center piling with my 13' whaler. there was a small sandy beach at the base on the other side we used to hang out. GOOD TIMES! DOES anybody remember the weekend traffic on swift creek? two lanes of egg harbors and pacemakers makin some huge swells an me in my 14' custom craft hangin on!

i think my dad was a member. lived on freeport creek, near the high tide bar and deli on main st. worked at the yankee clipper rest. and capt. freds on woodcleft ave. freeport used to be a nice town..

1967 my first trip to Zach's Bay on my brother's 8' mini-most with an 18 hp Evinride. Talk about big boats throwing wakes I was sitting on the front 4' of the boat, no life jacket. A good way to start a boat racing career. Little did I know that I would race FRR. I was not the deck rider though.
