2000 Mercury EFI 200 beep beep beep beep beep beep beep

Hi all. I have a 200 Mercury EFI which has been great since I got the ECU repaired. I just had to do the impeller and primer bulb, no biggie, and now something new. Took the family over to Fire Island for the day with no issues. Started boat back up to leave and as soon as the motor started I got beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep. Not the constant overheat one. And not a series of beeps with a break in between. Just always beeping. I idled over to the dock to get them while it beeped and soon after I took off it stopped. Before I took off I took a second to look codes up on my phone and it seemed like most people said it was related to the oil injection. The oil injection was disabled by the previous owner so I took a risk on just heading home. The beeps soon stopped and the motor ran great.

I've looked online and most people say that it is either an oil injection problem or water in fuel. I started it in a barrel when I got home last night and it still beeped, but this morning when I went out to troubleshoot it did not of course.

I did notice that on the filter on the motor that the brown wire was not connected, not sure how long its been that way. I started it with and without the wire connected and it still didn't beep. I emptied that filter and the water separator filter in the bilge and there wasn't any sign of water. I only have a 40 gallon tank so gas doesn't sit very long.

I didn't do the oil injection disable myself so I don't know if some sensor was left connected that decided to go off. But if its not water or an oil injection issue, where else should I look? Since I premix do you think it would be safe to drive the alarm is going off?

    Thanks

Sounds like oil pump sensor, on throttle side of block
above low pressure pump. If not removed/disconnected
    could cause the issue. Clay

I think all of the sensors are gone. Do you see anything else that needs to be disconnected? Click image for larger version.

From that photo I see nothing else, pump rotation
sensor appears to have been removed. It would be
behind bend in fuel line from pump.

So I've started it about a dozen times in a barrel and the buzzer remains off. I checked some connections and all seems good. I'm just going to run it and see what happens. Thanks for the help
