Good water flow/low water pressure

When I separated it the old one tore so I replaced it. It appeared to match but I'm wonderin if there were maybe some differences in hole sizes I didn't catch. I'm honestly thinking about going to a 1 piece plate and modifying it so I can control the flow.

there is also a very slight difference in tha 2.0 and 2.4 PH gasket.. on each side of tha exhaust holes one will have 2 small holes and tha other will have 3.. doubt if this makes any difference though...


with a one piece ya may/may not need ta do a lot "adjustin'" with flow ta get temps right.. may involve pullin' PH a few times doin' this... but then again ya MIGHT get it right tha very first time... patience/testin' is key with it.. jmo.

Once I get the 1 piece cleaned up I'm gonna do something studying on it compared to another 2 piece I have and try to get some more info.

I build these for a living , when you stray from the OEM cooling systems problems follow , others may disagree I could care less ... These Mercury engineers that design these didn’t fall from a logging truck ... When you start straying from OEM cooling I find trouble follows ,

Thanks for the info Jay. I'll save that 1 piece adapter for another project
