How to remove a 1991 or so QuickSilver Remote Throttle

My trim switch seems to be going bad, it's way too sensitive and has a lot of play in it.

I've removed the plastic center cap, not sure what to do next, I can't seem to get socket to grab on in the center to remove that.

I also put the throttle in full forward position and I see there is a slot and an opening, however not sure how to remove that set screw if there is one there, it seems to be blocked by a red wire and the way my throttle is positioned between the hull and the seat, it's tough to get a good look in there.

I have attached a photo of my remote throttle with the center cap removed.

    Thanks,
    Jon

Since nobody on here chimed in on this, I'm going to try again to track down my manual.

I'm hoping it has the spec on the set screw and/or how to remove this damn thing, so I can replace the Trim button.

I think the grubscrew is 1/4" you should be able to move the wire to the side and get to it

    Thanks,

I was finally able to get this task completed.

I used a telescoping little mirror to get a better look into the hole, and that gave me a good idea of what size of allen wrench to use. I could also better tell where the red power wire was blocking access to the set screw. I used a long flat blade screwdriver to push the power wire off to the side a bit, and then used a 5/32nd Allen Wrench to get this set screw out!
