You won't be disappointed. I guarantee with whats coming soon you and I will have our personal speed need filled to satisfy our limit. I ordered another set and there should be some stuff ready by the time that I get them.

22 DCB were twin merc 2.5 280 powered and run very well for river lake boats. My dad had one. The 450 would be good i think. But $$$$.

A 28 Skater with two 505# 300XS's will run between 115 and 118 MPH. With three 300XS's (1515# total motor weight) vs. two 450R's at 1442#. Same hp. What would you all expect performance comparisons to be??

Doesn’t matter you can’t buy the 300xs anymore.
But I’d guess very similar performance at half the price if you could.

The twin 450s would be more fuel efficient.

I figured its 8 gallons of gas heavier than the 300xs, but then again, the full oil tank on a 300xs is 25-30 lbs.
    450R 721 lbs
    300R 561 lbs

I wonder who has a dyno print for each.

fully dressed powerheads are now available so you can still build one. this is how we have setup the super stock race boats with 15" Mad EFI mids.

    Yes you could.

Unfortunately that world isn't what's driving sales. Big centerconsoles are. Same reason Yamaha can have a 1000lb 425hp motor. It's not for us go fast guys
