    Correct on the different hub. I also think the rake is slightly different on the S3 versus the Scorpion but for $320 who cares. It's worth a try.

    IM 99% S3 IS same as scorpion. ive looked at a lot of em. the item # is the same, excluding pitch#

    It was Rubex S3 (interchangeable hub) and Solas Scorpion (fixed hub) when they came out.

    Available as SOLAS® Brand traditional single piece pressed rubber hub or RUBEX® Brand interchangeable rubber hub boat propellers.

    YES i agree, very confusing. now i see a prol4 is different # than a standard l4. pro is a 9577, pic shows a lexor, some show pro on hub.

    PROP comes with 3 small holes, located where you would want pvs holes. i used a power drill with a sharp bit. drilled easy. 3/8 0r 1/2 seem like a good choice. venoms superboat drilled them to 7/8''.

    I'm 99% sure their literature used to say "or Mercury Flo-Torq" but it's hard to find anything on their site now.
