    225 black max trouble

I’m having a heck of a time with this 225 black max. Compression is good in all 6 but I can’t run it under 4K rpm or it throttles back on me which I think is the cable but it won’t idle and it sometimes bogs out and dies on me for joe reason. I put all new gas lines from tank to motor and also replaced all the lines in side the motor Any help would be great thanks guys

Sierra makes plastic floats that should work in those carbs. I think 82 still had the foam floats (square not round). They will dissolve in ethanol fuel if the orange coating is compromised!

Wish I was closer to you, I would give you a couple bucks for the blown powerhead. Not worth shipping though.
